Dolores (Gulish) Marutiak

Dolores L. (Gulish) Marutiak, 75, of Lower Burrell, passed away at her residence, Monday, Nov. 15, 2021. She was born April 2, 1946, to her parents, the late John and Catherine Kravitz Gulish, and had been a lifelong member of the community. Mrs. Marutiak graduated from Springdale High School, Class of 1964, and was of the Catholic faith. She was an amazing cook and loved to feed her family and friends. Dolores always enjoyed her family vacations to Wildwood, N.J., and Disney World. She was the best, most loving, most selfless wife, mother and grandmother of all time, and her granddaughter and family were always the most important people in her life. Surviving her are her loving husband, James S. Marutiak; son, Gary M. Marutiak, of Maryland; granddaughter, Peyton M. Marutiak; sister, Cathy Malloy, of Springdale; and her cat, Kitty Purry. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, William Gulish. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, in THE CHARLES B.
