Diem McMunn-Gereshenski

Diem McMunn-Gereshenski, 5, of Springdale went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 13, 2023. She was born on Halloween, Oct. 31, 2017, in Pittsburgh. In her five and a half years of living, she has endured 23 surgeries and had so many different obstacles, but she never once let them get her down. If you told that little girl she could not do something, she was going to prove you wrong and do it in her own little way. She was the best big sister to her two little brothers, Gibson and Judsen, and she was obsessed with playing with her cousins who lived next door, Trinity, Adalynn, Amelia and Abel. Diem loved Mr. Fake Ears, her little Angel that she said tells her to do things, although she had a hard time pronouncing some words, D had her own little language, and if you were lucky enough to speak it, you were going to witness an incredible girl. Survived by Joshua Gereshenski (father); Samantha McMunn (mother); Dorothy Stanley (great grandmother,"GiGi"); Pamela Stanley (grandmother "GaGa"); Mark Mancini (grandfather); Gibson and Judsen Gereshenski (brothers); Elizabeth and Natalee Gereshenski (sisters); and several aunts, uncle and cousins. Diem was a light who was loved by so many. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts until we meet again. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to Diem's church, Crosspointe Church, Harmar, where a private ceremony to celebrate her life was held.
