Dennie J. Runyan Jr.

Dennie J. Runyan Jr., 68, of Cheswick, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, in his home surrounded by family. He was born July 24, 1954, in New Kensington, to the late Dennie J. and Maria Gross Runyan Sr. Dennie was a self-employed contractor. He enjoyed camp, being with family, bird watching and playing with his grandchildren. Survivors are his loving wife of 45 years, Vickie J. Copeland Runyan, his daughter, Teresa (Sean) Gongaware, of Indiana Township, his son, Joseph (Melissa) Runyan, of Virginia, six grandchildren, Tyler, Isabelle, Brayden, Makayla, Emma and James, brothers, Richard Runyan and Randy Runyan, of Indiana Township, sisters, Patty (Tom) Harris, of West Deer Township, and Pamela (Chuck) Vidak, of Texas. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, in Rock of Ages Alliance Church, 124 Pearl Ave., Cheswick, PA 15024. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
