Charles R. Sprague

Charles R. Sprague Sr. 65, of Cheswick, passed away July 29, 2024, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.  He was born December 8, 1958, to his late parents, Boyd and Adelia Urban Sprague.  Charles worked for AR Building Company as a Commercial Building Supervisor and was a longtime resident of the area.  He was a life member of the former Harmar Fire Department and enjoyed trains, building and painting model cars, woodworking as well as golfing and especially spending time with his family.  Surviving him:

Daughter Mary Catherine Sprague of Brackenridge

Son Charles R. Sprague Jr.

Brother Thomas (Debra) Sprague of Schenley

Brother Robert Sprague of Butler

2 Grandchildren Aurora and Guinevere

As well as nieces and nephews

Besides his parents, Charlie was preceded by his sister Patricia Biertempfel.

Friends will be received Saturday August 10, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. burial will be private for his family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
