Cecelia (Caruso) Cantine

Cecelia (Caruso) Cantine, 77, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021. She was born Jan. 10, 1944, to her parents, the late Albert and Agnes Slomkoski Caruso, and had been a lifelong resident of the community. She worked at the Pittsburgh Field Club for 28 years, where she retired. Mrs. Cantine was a member of St. Alphonsus Church and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Earl (Diane) Cantine, Erik Cantine and Mike (Amanda) Cantine, all of Ocean City, Md.; sisters, Eleanor Verner, Alberta Smith and Frances Hickey; brother, Tom (Sis) Caruso; seven grandchildren; and two beloved cats, Sylvester and Mimi. Friends are welcome to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, in St. Alphonsus Church, Guardian Angel Parish in Springdale.
