Cathleen (Shevlin) Weiland, 61, of Scott Township, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. She was born Oct. 28, 1960, to her father, David Shevlin and her mother, the late Joanne Damico Shevlin. Mrs. Weiland graduated from Penn Hills High School and later realtor school, and she went on to work as a real estate agent. She was very artistic and loved to make floral arrangements for weddings. Cathleen loved to travel the world and enjoyed sunbathing and listening to music, as well as singing and dancing. Surviving her are father, David Shevlin, of Harwick; brother, David (Debbie) Shevlin, of Apollo; sister, Elizabeth Lovelidge, of Penn Hills; brother, Jeffrey (Tina) Shelin, of Fairbanks, Alaska; and brother, Richard (Barbara) Shevlin, of North Carolina. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 until services at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pittsburgh St. Please follow all covid-19 guidelines, and masks are mandatory. Burial will be private for her family.
