Carol Ann (Sepelyak-Futules) Owens

Carol Ann (Sepelyak)(Futules) Owens, 69, of New Kensington, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2024. She was born June 16, 1954, to her mother Martha Zorich Sepelyak and her late father Albert Sepelyak. Mrs. Owens graduated from the first graduating class of Riverview High School, Oakmont. She later earned her bachelor of nursing degree and became a traveling registered nurse throughout the United States. She was a member of Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, Oakmont, and enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to the ocean with where she could read and relish the sunshine. Surviving her is her son, Anthony W. (Danielle) Futules, of Plum; daughter, Shannon Futules, of Tennessee; daughter, Carol (Michael) Gage; daughter, Mary Owens; brother, Albert Sepelyak; sister, Janet Sepelyak; and grandchildren, T.J. and Hailey Futules, Demetrius Futules, Kellan and Karson Marren, and Regina Gage.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday Feb. 18, 2024, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St., Cheswick, where services will commence on Monday Feb. 19, in the funeral home. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
