Carol Ann (Dominici) Meade Reese, of Leechburg, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021. She was born Jan. 15, 1943, in Harmar, to her late parents, Julius and Linda Ficerai Dominici. Carol was the matriarch of kindness, laughter, giving and friends and family. She was a certified cosmetologist and had numerous salons. She owned numerous establishments in the Valley including Carol's Dam View Hotel, The Harmar House and The Wicked Witches. She was co-founder of the Wicked Witches Ride for Autisim Run, which will continue in her memory. She was a fierce poker player and loved the energy of the casinos, and bingo at the local area fire halls. Some of her other pleasures include her beautiful rose garden and her animals, especially the kittens. Carol was a pioneer in the Pittsburgh motorcycle community, but what she most loved was spending time with family and friends. One of her biggest achievements besides her family were the people she helped and reached out to. Carol never turned anyone away. Her home was your home. She carried on this heartfelt tradition with her brother, Peter, and father, Jules, of caring for people. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Reese, and best friend, who traveled, doing numerous cross country motorcycle trips, going to Ireland and Florida as well as abroad; daughter, Michelle (Rich) Meade; sons, William D. and Brian Reese; grandchildren, Julia (Justin) Tresco and Scarlett and Vienna Reese; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Dayton, Camdynn and Braxton; and nephew, Peter Dominici. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, in the CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1607 Pittsburgh St., where services will commence at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, and burial to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
