Barry Dean Shemenski 63 of New Kensington, passed away unexpectedly at home on July 3, 2025. He was the son of the late Adam and Genevieve Vrabel Shemenski and a longtime member of the community. Barry graduated from Springdale High School and worked for Local 373 Brick Layers Union until his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and always enjoyed watching The Pittsburgh Penguins. He especially loved his nieces, nephews and grandchildren and always looked forward to family get togethers. Surviving him are:

Grandchildren – Kylayah Rizzo, Jada Schuler, Natalia Triplett, Aaron Booker, Madison Coniglilo and Alyssa Leya.

Besides his parents, Barry was also preceded in death by his sister Melody Martin; brother Jeffery Shemenski; nephew Jared Shemenski; sister-in-Law Jeannie Jaros Shemenski; Brother-in-Law Mark Martin; and his beloved K-9 Bandit.
Services and interment will be private. A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
