Barbara L. (Hince) Cheran

Barbara L. (Hince) Cheran, 82, of Springdale, passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1940, to her late parents, Charles and Blanche Zimowski Hince. Mrs. Cheran worked as a waitress at Eat'n Park in Etna for many years before retiring. She loved being a grandma to her grandson and loved her faithful canine, Walter. Survivors include her lifelong partner, Michael D. Monahan, of Springdale; daughter, Jodi (Ronald Daltorio, M.D.) Cheran, of Pittsburgh; grandson, Peter Daltorio; and brother, John Hince, of Texas. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Thaddeus and Charles Hince. Services and interment are private for her immediate family.
