Arthur “Chuck” Gumbert, 94, of Lower Burrell, formerly of Springdale, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. He was born Nov. 13, 1929, to his parents, the late Victor and Emily Lambermont Gumbert. Mr. Gumbert worked for Duquesne Light for 42 years where he retired. Chuck was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Lower Burrell and enjoyed gardening, working on his home, listening to music, and spending time with his family. Surviving him are his daughters, Debbie (Earl) Marshalek and Lisa Gumbert both of Springdale; his daughter-in-law, Kandee Gumbert; grandchildren, Sarah (Anthony) Fricchione of New Kensington and Chuck (Jen) Gumbert of South Park; and great-grandchildren, Charlie and Penny Gumbert. Besides his parents, Chuck was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Bette Gumbert; and a son, Charlie Gumbert. Visitation and interment in Union Cemetery are private for his immediate family.
