Anthony F. Macedone

Anthony (Tony) F. Macedone, age 91 of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 18th, 2024. Son of the late Antonio and Helen Macedone. Husband of 60 years to Virginia Macedone, father of Karen (Tim) DeZort, Anthony (Karin) Macedone, Wade (Danielle) Macedone, John Doughtry, and the late Debbie Macedone Phillips.  Grandfather of Lauren (Chris) Litle, Joseph (Megan) DeZort, Catherine (Nicholis) Long, Alexandra (Matt) Hileman, Karley Macedone, Brayden Macedone, Hope Phillabaum, Melissa (John) Adkins, Jessica (Jason) Kufel-Lowery , Jason Doughtry, Joe Doughtry, Dan Doughtry. Great Grandfather of 10, and Great Great Grandfather of 5. 

Tony will be remembered for his tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War along with his love of hunting, golfing (three hole in ones after the age of 70), and enjoying a good meal surrounded by people he loved, especially on Sundays.

Family and friends will be received at THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC.  801 Pittsburgh Street,  Thursday Nov 21st, 2024, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. with services to commence Friday the 22nd at 10am with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens with military honors.   www.jarviefuneralhome.com
