Anna Wiwel Obituary

Anna Anderson Wiwel, of Springdale, passed away. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Richard E. Wiwel; beloved mother of Carol (Jim) Rossi, of Colorado, Richard Wiwel Jr., of Springdale, and Cathy (Walt) Lutynsky, of Gibsonia; beloved grandmother of Cortni (Wynter) Stieger, Joel (Jacki) Rossi, Carly (Anthony) Balistreri, Bailey and Ryan Lutynsky; great-grandmother of Brayton, Brandyn, Bryson and Bella Stieger; and beloved sister of the late Mildred Pagett, Elizabeth Carney, Helene Johnson and John Anderson. She authored two books entitled "Letters from a Loving Father" and "Behold I Come Quickly," both on the writings and teachings of Jesus Christ. She wanted to encourage and share what a relationship with Jesus did for her, and what it can do for you. To quote Billy Graham, "Everywhere I go I find people are asking one basic question, 'Is there any hope for the future?' My answer is the same, 'Yes, Through Jesus Christ.'" Per Anna's wishes, services and interment are private for her immediate family. She will be laid to rest beside her husband of 66 years, Richard E. Wiwel Sr., in Deer Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Network of Hope, 2326 Duncan Ave., Allison Park, PA 15101. Arrangements were entrusted to THE CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOMES, 801/1607 Pittsburgh St. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
