Anna Mae Tomayko 92, formerly of Springdale, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, in Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, where she resided the past five years. She was born March 14, 1929, to her parents, the late Steve and Mary Kantor Mydock. She graduated from Ken-High in 1947 and worked for Schenley Distillery and J.C. Penney. Mrs. Tomayko was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, Guardian Angel Parish, in Springdale, where she attended regularly and was a devout Christian. She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh sports teams with a passion as well as our local teams. Anna Mae was a great cook and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed shopping. Surviving her are her son, Kenneth (Diane) Tomayko, of Natrona Heights; grandson, Tyler (Lauren) Tomayko, of Hidden Valley; granddaughter, Kali Tomayko, of Oakmont; great-grandson, Jace; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Tomayko; and son, Raymond Tomayko; and three sisters Marge, Evelyn and Mary Lou. A special thanks to Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Cabot for the great care they provided over the years to mom. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, in THE CHARLES B. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, in St. Alphonsus Church/Guardian Angel Parish.
