Ann (Dunmyre/Yaksich) Honkus, 82, of Harmar, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2022. She was born Jan. 13, 1940, in Pittsburgh, to her parents, the late Jim and Nelly Dunmyer. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Milan Yaksich; and second husband, Metric “Babe” Honkus. She is survived by her loving sons, Greg (Clare), Jeff (Dena) and Brad (Michele) Yaksich; grandchildren, Courtney, Alexa, Luke, Gregory, Milana and Anna; her sisters, July Benzel, Carol Dunmyre and Jean Marletti; and her late brother, Jim Dunmyre. She enjoyed her home, watching local sports, “Wheel of Fortune,” “Jeopardy,” reading the news, the Pennsylvania Lottery and occasional trip to the casino. Her biggest joy in life was her sons and watching her grandchildren grow and become successful adults. There will be visitation and services at the CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale, from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, with blessing services at 7 p.m. and interment in Deer Creek Cemetery.
