Russell B. Schaming

Russell Schaming passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. He was 52 years old. He leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Lucille Schaming Byers and Dave Byers, his children William and Julia Schaming their mother and loving stepfather, Betsey and Jeff Jacobsky, his oldest daughter, Kristy Jo, two grandchildren, his sisters Sherry (Neil) Hainley, and April Schaming (Lou) Chamboredon, and many nieces and nephews. Russ owned his own construction company and was affectionately know as “The Cement Man”. He was a gifted artist and craftsman and was generous with his time and talents. He loved to give people gifts of his art. Russ had a wonderful sense of humor and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing bingo, reading and getting into mischief. Russ will be joining in heaven his father Paul Schaming, brother John Simms, his grandparents, nephew Mauro and his beloved dog Snoopy. A memorial service will be planned in his honor after the New Year. Arrangements are under the care of the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc. Springdale/Cheswick.
