Robert H. Sweet Jr.

Robert H. “Swidley” Sweet Jr., 66, of Springdale, Passed away unexpectedly at work on Friday October 12, 2018.  He was born July 25, 1952 to his parents, the late Robert Sr. and Katherine Nolan Sweet and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Bob was a graduate of Springdale High School and worked for Beam Heating and Cooling for 35 years.  He belonged to the Krivan Club in Springdale where he had made many friends over the years.  He played Euchre, bowled and golfed in his spare time.  He also belonged to The Springdale Sportsmans Club.  Bob was a wonderful husband, fantastic father and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Son Ian Sweet of Springdale

Brother-in-law C. David Kish of Tarentum

Nephews David (Joan) Kish of New Kensington and Frank Remmick

Sister-in-laws Phyllis (Joe) DeMeo of Arnold

                        Joyce (Kevin) Delaney of Cranberry

Mother-in-law Betty Bell

As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters Patricia Remmick and Donna L. Kish and father-in-law William Bell

Everyone is invited to celebrate Bob’s life on Saturday October 20, 2018 from 11:30am until services start at 12:30 pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
