Olga (Duris) Dougherty

Olga Dougherty, 100, of Springdale, passed away peacefully on Friday October 27, 2017 in The Willows of Oakmont.  She was born in Springdale on September 7, 1917 to her parents, the late Paul and Susan Liner Duris and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Mrs. Dougherty formerly belonged to St. Marks Lutheran Church where she was a member for many years.  She liked watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, playing cards, listening to music, but most of all she enjoyed the loving company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Surviving her are:

Son James R. (Barbara) Dougherty of Springdale

Daughter Patricia (Joseph) Kutchko of Allison Park

8 Grandchildren 9 Great-grandchildren

Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband Russell

Son Donald Dougherty

5 sisters Ann Bossola, Sue Piontek, Vera Gondak, Mary Kay Tvrdovsky and an infant sister Viola.

2 brothers Edwin Duris and Milan W. Duris

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday October 31^st from 10am until services at 12noon in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
