Lois E. (Hendler) Smith, 85, of Springdale, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 13, 2018. She was born on May 12, 1932 in Springdale and was the loving daughter of the late Theodore and Evelyn Thomas Hendler. Mrs. Smith was a former member of The Open Bible Church and was very involved with all aspects. Lois loved to take long walks with her family enjoying the warm sunshine.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Diane Gould of Springdale
Two grandchildren Joseph Gould of Springdale and Sara Gould of Gainesville Fl.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Donald Gould and Benjamin Smith and her son Greg Gould.
Friends will be received on Tuesday January 16th from 2-4 and 6 until time of services at 7:30pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. She will be laid to rest in Deer Creek Cemetery.
