Kevin A. Orbin

Kevin A. Orbin, 63, of Allegheny Township, passed away peacefully Monday, April 30, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Nov. 5, 1954, to his parents, his mother, Jean Bayne Orbin, and the late Paul A. Orbin. He formerly lived in Oakmont and graduated from Oakmont High School. Kevin enjoyed and took pride in his work at Zampogna Inc. for the past 20 years. He spent time deer hunting, trout fishing and yearly trips to New York for salmon and ocean fishing on his beach vacations, frequenting Maryland, Delaware and Rhode Island. He was a big fan of the Steelers and Pirates. Kevin took pleasure in the time he spent with his wife and dogs, gardening and baking. He was proud of his fur kids and they were great companions to him during the months he spent at home before his passing. Surviving Kevin are his wife of 23 years, Tracey E. (Beers) Orbin; fur children, T-Bone, Patches and Crush; his mother, Jean Bayne Orbin, of Springdale; two brothers, William (Brenda) Orbin and Thomas (JoAnne) Orbin, both of Springdale; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carilynn Orbin, and fur children, Leah, Sassy Girl and Misty Blue. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, in the CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St. Services will commence at 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Cheswick.
