Fritz A. Torner

Fritz A. Torner, 84, of Harmarville, passed away suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018. He was born Dec. 5, 1933, in Rural Ridge to his parents, the late Frederick and Frieda Frassa Torner. Fritz had been a lifelong resident of the Valley. Mr. Torner served in the Air Force. After service, Fritz worked and retired from the former Satellite Alloy plant in Springdale. He enjoyed hunting and also running and judging his field trial beagles. Surviving him are a brother, Reinhold E. Torner, of Gardners, Pa., and a nephew. His family invites friends from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at CHARLES B.
