Elaine M. (Haugh) Weihrauch

Elaine M. Weihrauch, 74, of Springdale, died Thursday June 7, 2018 in her home. She was born October 15, 1943 in Ford City to the late Harry and Laura Lassiere Haugh and has lived in Springdale the past 53 years. Elaine was a self- employed Beautician and was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale. She was a terrific cook and baker, avid walker, and had a passion of taking care of dogs. Elaine was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her entire family who loved her dearly. Survivors are her husband of 53 years Herman Joseph Weihrauch; daughter, Kristine Weihrauch ( Ralph Jackson) Jordan of New Kensington; sons, Jay Harry Weihrauch of Springdale; Herman Joseph ( Gina Darragh) Weihrauch Jr. of Apollo; her four grandchildren, Daniel Jordan, Colleen (Michael) Krantz, Chase Weihrauch, Summer Weihrauch; three great-grandchildren, Jace Jordan, Isaac Weihrauch, Michael Krantz; Sister Phyllis Wilhem of Uniontown, also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant baby, brother Lyman Haugh and step-father George Chilton. Viewing and burial will be private. Everyone is invited to a Christian Funeral Mass on Tuesday June 12th at 11 AM in St. Alphonsus Church with the Rev Ken Kezmarsky officiating, burial will be private.
