Charles F. Hince Jr.

Charles F. Hince Jr.,83, of Springdale,  passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday November 5, 2017.  Mr. Hince was born on July 12, 1934 to his parents, the late Charles and Blanche Zamosky Hince Sr. and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Charles worked for West Penn Power Co. for 40 years where he eventually retired.  He belonged to St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale, the Falcons Club, 7^th Street Sportsman’s Club and Clyde and Pattis Golf League.  He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Loving wife of 64 years Betty (Pater) Hince

Sons Charles M. (Suzanne) Hince

           Michael (Judy) Hince

Daughters Nancy (Jim) Fogle

                   Janice (Corey) Heller

1 Sister Barbara Hince

1 Brother John (Gerry) Hince

11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren

As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

Besides his parents, Mr. Hince was also preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and Ted Hince.

Mr. Hince’s family will receive friends on Wednesday November 8^th from 5-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday November 9th at 10am in St. Alphonsus Church with The Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky officiating.  Private burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
