Carol Ann Small

Carol Ann Small, 67, of Springdale, passed away on November 13, 2017 from complications due to a stroke.  She was born on October 3, 1950 to her parents, the late Louis and Mary Podhurcak Grum and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Carol had worked all her life for Westinghouse, R.I. Glendenning Co. and most recently Overhead Door Co. for 17 years where she eventually retired.  She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirate fan, always looking forward to watching them in her game room with a roaring fire lit.  Carol also enjoyed going camping at Pioneer Park in Somerset where she met a lot of great friends over the years.

Besides her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by two brothers Robert “Moe” and Daniel “Danny” Grum.

Friends will be received in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. on Thursday November 16^th from 2-4 and 6 until time of her blessing service at 7:45pm by The Rev.
