Bertha Mae Ryan 87 of Springdale passed away Sunday January 7,2018 at her home. She was born May 2, 1930 in New Castle to the late Frank and Edna Myers Calvert . Bert was a retired Registered Nurse at the Veterans Administration in Aspinwall and was of the Presbyterian Faith.Among her interests was golfing, in the Oaklake Golf League and was an avid Steeler fan.
Her survivors include her husband of 64 years James N. Ryan
Son Michael (Ann Marie) Ryan of New Sewickley
Son Kevin (Regina) Ryan of Harmony
Daughter Kathleen Ryan of Penn Hills.
3 grandchildren Marin (Joshua) Tobin, Kenneth and Levi Ryan
1 brother Howard Calvert of Phoenix,Arizona
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Danny Ryan, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Family will receive friends Thursday January 11 from 1 pm until time of service at 2 pm in the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pittsburgh St. SPRINGDALE Memorial tributes may be made to a charity of ones choice
