Mildred Farren

Mildred C. Farren 101, of Springdale, passed away on Friday July, 29, 2016. She was born at home in Springdale on August 11, 1914 to her parents the late John and Mary Eshauer Grottenthaler and has been a lifelong resident of the Valley. Mrs. Farren formerly resided in Oakmont before moving to Springdale. She was of the Catholic faith and her family was the most important to her. Surviving her are: Son Barry (Geri) Farren of Springdale 4 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by 3 brothers Leo, John and Herman Grottenthaler 2 sisters Hilda Grottenthaler and Marie Lydic and her daughter Helen Zorn. Services and burial in Deer Creek Cemetery were held in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME. 801 Pgh.
