Jean A. Walker

Jean A. Walker 88, of Cheswick, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday March 3, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Walker was born on January 25, 1928 in Springdale to the late John and Jennie Kristufek Youra and has been a longtime resident of the Valley. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale. Her home was her paridise where she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and playing bingo. Surviving her are: Son Grant (Nancy) Walker of New Orleans Daughters Gerri (Frank) Forbes of Springdale Gail (Bill) Sylvester of Cheswick Son Guy L. Walker of Cheswick Daughter Gina (Steve) Bollman of Shaler Twp. Grandchildren Grant, Ann, Jennifer, Lisa, Michele, Sean and Stephen 7 Great-grandchildren Sister Flora (Sam) Tarbi of Cheswick Sister Mary Falso of AZ. Brother Phillip (Gaynelle) Youra of Biloxi Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Grant L. Walker and one brother John Youra Friends will be received on Saturday March 5th from 11am until time of services at 2pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St. with Rev. Alan Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Grant.
