Vivian Logan Obituary

Vivian Logan of Springdale passed away peacefully, Friday, March 8, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born April 11, 1933, in Connoquenessing, to the late Clair H. and Bessie (Bowen) Brunermer. Vivian graduated from Butler High School and Butler Business College. She worked as a secretary at Magnetics in Butler, Springdale Community Center and Medrad. She also worked in the retail field at local area businesses. As a teenager, Vivian was a majorette and marched with Meridian Fife and Drum Corps. Vivian served as an elder at Springdale United Presbyterian Church and participated in many church activities. Vivian served as president of the Springdale Jr. Women’s Club and was a member of the daughters of the American Revolution, Butler County Chapter. Vivian loved spending time with friends and family and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. She also enjoyed traveling around the U.S. and Europe with her husband and family.

Survivors include children, Denise Elliott, Robert (Sheri) Logan of Springdale, Paul (Bonnie) Logan of Seattle, WA and Lori (Rod) Knox, of Sarver, grandchildren, Will (Sasha) Elliott, Elizabeth (Huy Dang) Elliott, Caitlin Knox, Connor Knox, Sean Caffas, Richard (Alanna) Caffas, Amanda Bowser, Sara (Steve) Bonacci, Alicia Snow, several great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 70 years Robert Logan in October 2023, brothers and their spouses, Richard (Ruth) Brunermer, Carl (Anabel) Brunermer, Robert Brunermer (surviving spouse Barbara), sisters and their spouses, Gretchen (James) Freeze and Marjorie (Eugene) O’Donnell.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Orion Personal Care Residence for taking care of Vivian the past year.

Friends will be received from 2:00 to 6:00 Thursday, March 14, 2024 for a celebration of life at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale. The burial will be private.
