Betty J. (Krampholz) Andrews

Betty Jane Andrews, 85, of Springdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23. She was born to the late John and Kathryn Krampholz on Nov. 8, 1938. Betty was predeceased by her husband, and one true love, William (Bill) Andrews, who died unexpectedly on April 13, 1982, after almost 20 years of marriage. Betty was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated from Oakmont High School in 1956. After spending time in Paris, France, while Bill was serving in the military, they bought their forever home in Springdale Township, where Betty raised her three children. In 2004, after over 30 years of service, she retired from Haskell of Pittsburgh, where she assembled steel office furniture. Over the years, she enjoyed her coffee, sitting on the patio, watching birds, trips to the casino, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty, affectionately known as NaNa to friends and family, is survived by her three children, George “Andy” (Kelly) Andrews, Tracie (Bill) Balach, Scott (Jodi) Andrews; her grandchildren, Dana Pratt, Amelia Wiggins, Halley Morales, Kaylan Andrews, Tara Balach, McKenna Andrews, and Brady Andrews; and her great-grandchild, Avonlea Pratt. Betty is also survived by her sister, Jonnie Lee (Oren) Grimenstein; and sister-in-law, Dolores (James) Andrews, along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her brother-in-law, James Andrews; and sister, Audrey McNeil. Per Betty’s request, her services and interment are private for her immediate family.
