Stella (Jakubowski) Kaminski

Stella Jakubowski Kaminski, 101, of Natrona died Wednesday January 24, 2018. She was born on July 28, 1916 in Natrona where she lived most of her life. Before retiring at the age of 72, she was employed in the dietary department at Allegheny Valley Hospital. Mrs. Kaminski was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish, Natrona. She enjoyed walking, cooking, baking, gardening, singing in the church choir, playing cards and word search puzzles. Grace, beauty and gentleness guided the strength and comfort of her soul and she devoted all life and love to us. How lucky we were to be touched by her. Survivors include her children; Edward (Gloria) Kaminski of Pendleton, South Carolina, Theodore (Patricia) Kaminski of Natrona Heights; Antoinette (Paul) Wolfhope of Lower Burrell. Her daughter in law; Sandra Kaminski of Natrona. Her grandchildren ; Theresa Kaminski, Marlene (Kevin) Fields, Karen (Joshua) Byers, Christine (Chuck) Mihaly, Mathew Kaminski. Douglas Kaminski, Brian (Shelly) Kaminski, Amanda (Todd) Malkey, Nicholas (Morgan) Kaminski, Aaron and Ashley Wolfhope. Great- grandchildren; Justin Kaminski, Garrett and Stella Fields, Caroline and Jackson Byers, Chelsea and Megan Mihaly, Jakeb, Joshua, Logan, Ian, and Conrad Kaminski, Mackenzie and Mackayla Malkey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Kaminski; son Stanley Kaminski; grandson, Gregory Kaminski, parents Anthony and Wladyslawa “Lottie” Furmanski Jakubowski, three brothers; Henry, John, and Edward Jakubowski and three sisters; Sophie Ciesielski, Catherine Gnatowski and Jane Kaniecki. At Mrs. Kaminski’s request, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 27 at 12 Noon in St. Joseph Parish 48 Spruce Street Natrona Pa 15065. Private Burial will follow next to her husband in Mt. Airy Cemetery Natrona Heights. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements under the care of the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc. Springdale/Cheswick.
