Marie Antoinette Fucci-Williams, 92, of Cheswick, died on Sunday February 11, 2018 in Concordia Lutheran Ministries Hospice Unit, Cabot, where she has lived in personal care for the past several years. She was born March 5, 1925 to her parents, the late Joseph and Rose Marsico Fucci and has been a lifelong resident of the community. Marie was employed by The Duqusne Light Company as an administrative assistant, working on Sixth Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh for 18 years before retiring.
Marie was an accomplished porcelain artist and taught porcelain painting in her home for many years. She was very active at St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, Springdale. She painted the Commemorative Plates for the churches Centennial and donated an Easter statue of Christ, in memory of her late husband Roy Williams.
Marie’s favorite quote was “Miss Me, But love me and let me go.”
Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter Cheryl and son-in-law Dom Vizzo of Cheswick. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Roy Williams, her parents and brother James J. Fucci.
At Marie’s request, funeral services and burial were private for the immediate family.
