Marie (Kasapis) Futules

Marie (Kasapis) Futules, 91, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 14, 2018 with her family at her side.  Mrs. Futules was born Jan 17, 1926 to her parents, the late Anthony and Freda (Neimer) Kasapis and  has been a lifelong member of our community.  She owned and operated Futules Restaurant in Verona for many years before relocating and purchasing the former Harmar House in 1998.  Besides cooking, she was also a fabulous seamstress and made all her own clothes.  Marie also enjoyed her artwork but especially loved spending time with her family.

 Sons James (Maria) Futules of OH.

   William A. Futules of Verona

Nicholas W. (Michelle) Futules of Oakmont

6 grand and 8 great-grandchildren

Besides her parents she was also preceded by her loving husband William J. Futules and 3 brothers and a sister.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday January 16, 2018 from 4-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE CHESWICK FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pgh. St.  Her Funeral service and church viewing will start Wednesday at 10am in The Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, Oakmont.  Service at 11am with Fr. P. Rameas officiating.  Burial will follow in Verona Cemetery next to her husband William.
