Margaret B. (Lodi) Lenosky

Margaret Barbara (Lodi) Lenosky, 90, of Cheswick, passed peacefully Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her son’s home in Tarentum, Pa.  She was born and raised in Springdale by her parents, the late John and Suzanna Lodi and eventually moved to Cheswick. 

Margaret was an avid golfer, a voracious reader, long time card club member and friends to so many.  She was a lifelong exercise enthusiast and a member of a local book club.  Margaret also was a devoted member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Springdale where she served on the council, as a greeter and longtime Bible Club member.

Mrs. Lenosky is survived by her children; daughters; Chris (Kevin) Quinn; Elaine Tierney and her companion, Scott Root; and her son Michael and his wife, Lynn.

Margaret was blessed with five grandchildren Kaylyn, Colin, Maurice, Michael and Brighid who she loved with all her heart.  Most recently, Margaret enjoyed the birth of her great-grandchild Greyson who was born to Kaylyn and Pat.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Michael Peter Lenosky.

Friends will be received on Friday May 26^th from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St.  Services will commence on Saturday at 11am in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by The Rev. Joseph Boomhower (everyone is asked to please meet at church) and burial to follow in Springdale Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Michael.
