Lynne A. (Balogh) Karns

Lynne A. (Balogh) Karns, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Bayberry Place Assisted Living on February 15, 2018 under Seven Oaks Hospice Services.  She was born on September 19, 1941 and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Lynne retired from nursing after 37 years of service. 

  She is survived by a granddaughter, who is the light of her life, Kylie Karns; two sons; Steve (Holly) Karns of Lower Burrell

Todd (Moose) Karns of Cheswick

2 brothers Steve (Linda) Balogh of West Palm, Fla.

                   Allen (Joanne) Balogh of Jupiter Beach, Fla.

Brother-in-Law Jim (Hope) Karns of Natrona Heights, sister-in-Law Marlene Haggerty of Brackenridge along with several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years Grant (Toby) Karns and her parents Steve and AnnaLou Balogh.

  Her family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Bayberry Place Assisted Living and Seven Oaks Hospice for their excellent care they provided to Lynne during this difficult time.

  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Protectors of New Ken or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

  At Lynne’s request, services and entombment were private for immediate family.
