I extend my sympathy to Mr. Bushman's family and wish you God's comfort and peace in the loss of this kind man ~ and I thank you for sharing him with us. When I think of growing up in the Springdale United Methodist Church, I see Mr. Bushman standing at the door, ready to "greet us and seat us"! I served as an usher with him for a few years, and as I moved on it was always good to go home again and see him there. You are loved Mr. Bushman. Rest easy.

I never knew I was in the presence of a hero, Mr. Bushman never spoke of his time in WW II. He was a man of great character and gentleness. During my teenage years I was an usher with Ken at the Springdale United Methodist Church. He often called Susan Hutzler and myself his 'daughters'. He taught me kindness, serving a greater god, and to help others. The world is a better place because of Ken. May you rest in peace. Sincerely, Heather Hixson

Thank you for your service to our great nation. A true hero who walked among us each and every day. Just a wonderful man to get to know. Thanks for your service to the church too. An usher/greeter for many, many years. Rest in peace comrade.
