Karen E. Jones

Karen E. Jones 79, of Cheswick, passed away on Thursday November 24, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. She was born December 22, 1936 in Applewall to the late Kenneth J. and Verda Mae Davis Earley and was a lifelong resident of the area. Mrs. Jones had formerly been an employee of Ames Department Store in Harmar and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Springdale. Karen enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and pets and especially  family gatherings around the kitchen table.

Her survivors include:

Daughter Patti (Jay) Pflugh of Sarver

Daughter Cindy Lacey of Springdale

Daughter Sandra E. Jones of New Kensington

Grandchildren Bradley, Joshua, Nicole, Meghan, Corey, Logan and Royce

19 greatgrandchildren and one expected very soon.

2 brothers John (Eileen) Earley of Ohio

Phillip Pavlak of Punxsutawney

1 sister Vicki Pavlak of California

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy E. Jones, a brother Lawrence Easley and a granddaughter Jennifer Jones.

Family will receive friends Saturday November 26th from 11am till time of service at 1pm in CHESWICK at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC.1607 Pittsburgh St.

The family has suggested memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. 600 Pitsburgh St.Springdale,Pa. 15144

Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville.
