Judy A. (Swanson) Adamson

Judy A. (Swanson) Adamson, 72, of Harmar, passed away at home on Monday January 9, 2017.  She was born on July 4, 1944 to her parents, the late John and Hilda Swanson.  Mrs. Adamson was born and raised in Lawrenceville before moving to Cheswick in 1965.  Judy belonged to Cheswick United Presbyterian Church.  She loved her family and grandchildren very much and never missed a sporting event or any occasion that the kids were involved in.  Surviving her are loving husband of 52 years John “Jack” Adamson

Daughters Wendy (Bill) Hensel of Squirrel Hill

                    Karen (Bill) Copetas of Mt. Lebo

Four grandchildren Kerianne, Peter, P.J., and Alex

Two sisters Nancy (Jack) Wright and Carolyn Kutchenriter

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death her sister Margaret Sippel

Friends will be received on Wednesday January 11, 2017 from 2-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. where services will commence on Thursday at 11am and entombment to follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.

Her family requests that memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s name to the American Cancer Society 320 Bilmar Dr. Pgh. Pa. 15205.
