James D. Walsh 87 of Cheswick, passed away Thursday April 13, 2017 at his home. He was born November 6, 1929 in Springdale to the late James and Mary Ann Dodson Walsh and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Jim was a engineer employed by ALCOA and retiring in 1988.
He served with the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Springdale United Methodist Church.

Wife Natalie Miller Walsh
Son James (Verna) Walsh of Springdale
Twin Daughters April Reifer of Saxonburg
And Amy Kelly of Tennessee
5 grandchildren Jamie Pasquale, James P. Walsh, Sarah Paal,Bethany Schutzman and Jennifer Bolak
7 greatgrandchildren
A sister Kathy (George) Hackler of New Mexico
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son William Walsh, a brother Thomas Walsh and a sister Violet Walsh.
Friends will be received Monday evening from 6pm until service time at 8pm in CHESWICK at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC. 1607 Pittsburgh St. Burial will be private in the Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar.
