Helen Mae Miller

Helen Mae (Schreckengost) Miller, 97, of Harmar, passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017. She was born Oct. 29, 1920, to the late Cecil and Gertrude Costello Schreckengost, and has been a lifelong resident of the Valley. Mrs. Miller was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and especially watching the Game Show Network. Surviving her are daughters, Carol Jean Parkin, of Natrona Heights, and Patricia Arlene Mangini, of Tarentum; son, James (Laurie) Nowacki, of Mississippi; stepsons Roy Miller, of Indiana Township, and Paul (Eileen) Miller, of Springdale; stepdaughter, Roseanna (Andy) Nemet, of Sarver; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Miller; two daughters, Helen Noble and Judith Allison; and son, Donald Sims. Friends will be received for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, in THE CHARLES B.
