George A. Carrigan

George A. Carrigan, 70, of Springdale, passed away at home on Thursday June 29, 2017.  He was born on February 22, 1947, the son of the late Raymond and Anna Mikus Carrigan and was a lifelong resident of the community.  George worked for Edgewater Steel in Oakmont for 33 years where he eventually retired.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Mr. Carrigan belonged to The Krivan Hall Association in Springdale and enjoyed playing cards and dice.  His real passion was coaching and the love of baseball and softball that he enjoyed playing for many years.

Nephew Edward (Sue) Bresuciak of Md.

Sister-In-Law Catherine Carrigan of Springdale

As well as numerous great nieces and nephews

Besides his parents, George was also preceded in death by his brother Raymond Carrigan and niece Elaine Gentile.

Per George’s request, all services and burial are private for immediate family.  He will be laid to rest in Deer Creek Cemetery.
