Frances R. (Kuslock) Chabal

Frances R. Chabal, 91, of Harmar, passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017.  She was born on April 17, 1926 in Oakmont to her parents, the late John and Elizabeth Vetterly Kuslock and has been a lifelong member of the community.  Mrs. Chabal graduated from The Citizen’s School of Nursing and worked as an LPN for the former Harmarville Rehabilitation Center for 31 years before retiring.  She belonged to St. Michaels Russian Orthodox Church in Curtisville.  Frances enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses as well as spending time with her family.

Daughter Judith (Paul) Temple of Ill.

Sons John (Colleen) Chabal of New Kensington

         Ron (Diane) Chabal of Upper Burrell

        Larry Chabal of Upper Burrell

        Robert Chabal of Oregon

4 Sister’s Elizabeth Shurina, Melissa “Mitzie” Laczek, Joanne Mallough and Margaret Kuslock.

1 brother John Kuslock

8 grand 15 great-grandchildren

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Walmsley and Maggie Shuey

Friends will be received on Sunday May 7^th from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC.  801 Pgh. St. where services will commence on Monday at 10am with Fr. Alexander officiating and burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
