Emma J. Borland

Emma J. Borland, 87, of Cheswick, went to be with her lord on Sunday march 19, 2017.  She was born April 28, 1929 to her parents, the late Joseph and Josephine Yelochan and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  She graduated Oakmont High School in 1946.  Mrs. Borland was an active member of the Springdale United Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, flowers, cooking, baking, nature and reading her Bible.  Emma was caring, loving, generous and encouraging to the people whose lives she touched.  She will be dearly missed by many.

          David R. Borland both of Cheswick

Adored granddaughter Leah G. Borland of Cheswick

Sister Frances Bracco of Creighton and Sister-in-law Margaret Yelochan of Cheswick

Cousins Aldene Horn, Robert Yelochan and Robert Sarich as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Albert Yelochan, two sisters; Mary Bracco and Julia Matus.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday March 21^st from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am in Springdale United Presbyterian Church with her pastor, Rev. David L.H. Carlisle officiating.  Everyone is asked to please meet at church.  Burial will follow in Lakewood Cemetery, Dorseyville.  Memorial contributions may be made to Springdale U.P. Church P.O.
