Elizabeth Ann (Zurisko) Shaw

Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Shaw of Springdale died December 25, 2017 in St. John Special Care Center Mars. She was born February 6, 1921 in Wilpen to the late Michael and Anna Homza Zurisko and was a life long Springdale resident. She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Boharch) Cunningham of Estero Florida and a son, B. Derek Shaw of York; four grandsons, Darren (Linda) Rachman, Mark (Jennifer) Rachman, Mark (Robin) Yanni, Matthew (Tara) Yanni, Son-in-law James Yanni of Wexford and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by first husband Louis Boharch and her second husband Dr. Byron E. Shaw, daughter Geraldine (Boharch) Yanni and three stepdaughters Norma, Eileene and Anita; four sisters, Mary Tabacchi, Julia Martin, Helen Murin, Rose Zurisko, and two brothers John and Joseph Zurisko. There will be no visitation and services will be private. Memorial Contributions may be made to Geraldine Yanni Science Club C/O Springdale Free Public Library 331 School Street Springdale, Pa. 15144 or the cause of your choice.  Arrangements under the care of the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc. Springdale/ Cheswick.
