Daniel S. Martin

Daniel S. Martin, 65, of Springdale died Tuesday August 8, 2017 in UPMC Shadyside. He was born May 15, 1952 in New Kensington to the late Peter & Loretta Bobshosky Martin and a resident of Springdale all his life. He was a retired Construction Superintendent for Local 211 with 30 years of service. A member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale. Dan enjoyed fishing, remodeling, boating and enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Rosalie M. Sigmund Martin, his two daughters Candice (David) Gaggini of Indiana Twp. Becky (Nick) Koslowski of Brackenridge and son Michael (Beth) Martin of Hatfield, six grandchildren Dominic, Nathaniel, Aiden, Lena, Addie and Myla. Brother of Carrie (Dane) Powell of Valencia, David (Sally) Martin of Harwick, John Martin of Lower Burrell, and Mark Martin of Springdale. A celebration of Life will be held Friday August 11 from 5 until a blessing service at 8 pm in SPRINGDALE at the Charles B. Jarvie Funeral Home Inc. 801 Pittsburgh Street.
