Dale C. Shoop

Dale C. Shoop, 84, of Springdale, passed away on June 14, 2017.  He was born in Springdale on October 9, 1932 to his parents, the late Harry and Mae Campbell Shoop and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Mr. Shoop belonged to The Springdale United Presbyterian Church.  He could often be seen buying items at auctions and selling those items at flea markets.  Dale enjoyed listening to country music and especially watching John Wayne movies with his family while enjoying his favorite chocolate.

Surviving him are his loving wife of 60 years

5 grandchildren Christopher, Lynn Marie, Martin, Grayce and William

2 great-grandchildren Erica and Cody

Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Harry, Sister Karen and a grandson Tom.

Friends will be received on Friday June 16^th from 4-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St.  A service will commence on Saturday at 10am with Rev. David Carlisle and burial to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
