Arlene A. (Protz) Beerworth

Arlene A. Beerworth, 75, of Springdale, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2017. She was born Jun 27, 1942, at home in Springdale, to the late Joseph and Anna Matisko Protz, and has since been a lifelong resident of the community. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1960 and was self-employed as a hairdresser for many years. Mrs. Beerworth was of the Catholic faith and belonged to Holy Family Church in Creighton. Arlene enjoyed baking and crocheting but most of all being with her family meant the most.  Surviving her are a son, Joshua (Melissa) Beerworth, of Springdale; daughter, Erin (Kory) Klukan, of West Deer; grandchildren, Adam and Michael Beerworth and Sarah Klukan. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas, in 2011. Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Church in Creighton with the Rev.
