Ann (Popash) Hamorsky

Ann Popash Hamorsky, 93, of Springdale, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday August 2, 2017.  She was born on May 31, 1924 to her parents, the late John and Anna Popash Hagymasi and has been a lifelong resident of the community.  Ann was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Springdale where she was formerly a member of The Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed reading, cooking and especially being with her grandchildren.

Daughter Margaret (James) Lopresti of Lower Burrell

Son Robert Hamorsky of Springdale

3 grandchildren Lori Lopresti of Fla., Lisa Lopresti of Lower Burrell and Carrie Hamorsky of VA.

Great granddaughter Ella Ann Waybright

Sister Frances Zanotti of Lower Burrell

Besides her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Michael and her Daughter-in-law Cynthia Worrell Hamorsky and brothers John, Steve, Joseph, Paul Poppish, and Andy Popash and one sister Genevieve Taylor.

Friends will be received on Friday August 4th from 2-4 and 6-8pm in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC. 801 Pgh. St. where Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am in St. Alphonsus Church with burial to follow in Union Cemetery, Arnold.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Alphonsus Fund.
